Reading Reflections - 3D Fabrication

In Blikstein's article, which was published over a decade ago, he aptly cites digital literacy as something that every citizen should be knowledgeable about. There have been new skills that emerged throughout history that became necessary to living in modern society, with proficiency in technology being that skill for the 21st century. While some still live a screen-less life, the vast majority of people are inundated by information through screens as a constant in their day-to-day. Blikstein argues for digital fabrication as a means of educational empowerment, citing Freire and Papert.
