3D Fabrication Project - SeeSee
It's been a long time since I had used any 3D modeling software, so this project felt fresh and unexpected. I decided to create a creature reflecting a part of my identity on Tinkercad. While there are limits to the shapes you can use and manipulate, I felt there was a nice toolbox available to play with. This creature consists of a bunch of spheres with embedded eyeballs, sat atop a skateboard-like object, with a cog in the center. I'm happy with how zany this turned out, and the idea came to me as I went along the process. I decided to name it SeeSee (sort of like the name Cece) to represent myself as an artist and observer. SeeSee has a mode of transportation so it can explore the world freely, with its cog allowing it to rotate and properly view its surroundings. I enjoyed playing with the coloring and scaling, although I felt limited at times by the software's inability to manipulate multiple colors within an object. Overall, I'm really happy with how this turned out and would love to try my hand at a more advanced 3D modeling software.
